Linux Mint Team has released their latest Linux Mint 21.3 Operating System for testers, developers, and other Linux users. It's known as a Virginia Edition. It's the best Operating System with a greenish theme and a Debian-based system. This Linux System offers the best user experience. Linux Mint 21.3 is a Long-Term Support (LTS), provided until 2027.
Linux Mint 21.3 is officially available with Cinnamon Edition, Mate Edition, and Xfce Desktop Environments. It offers the best user experience and desktop performance. It supports the latest Linux kernel 6x and by default provides the Cinnamon 6 latest version. It requires a minimum of 2GB RAM and 30GB of free storage for use. As per my recommendation, if you are interested in installing this, you can start with 4GB RAM for the best user experience.
The Linux Mint team has disabled the Snap Store by default from their desktop environment, and now you cannot download any Snap software on the Linux Mint desktop. If you use Firefox, Brave, and more software via the Snap Store, then you need to manually download and install software from their official site. Linux Mint 21.3 now supports the touchpad with new drivers. You can install the touchpad drivers from the official Linux Mint platform.
