Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) Daily Build is Available for Testers

The new Ubuntu 24.04, known as the Noble Numbat Edition, is the latest LTS Ubuntu version. It's available for testers and developers. The Noble Numbat, with the latest Linux kernel 6.x version, officially released on April 2024. It improves stability and fixes some bugs. It supports the latest versions of Nginx and Apache web servers.

If you are a developer or tester, you can download the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS daily build for testing. However, you should not use this version as your primary computer or desktop. If you are interested in testing this, you can try it on a virtualization platform. It's compatible with a minimum of 1024 GiB RAM, but I suggest trying it with 2048 GiB of RAM for best performance.

It is currently available for AMD64 or EM64T, Athlone 64 Opteron, Xeon Core, ARM64, Arch64, and home lab servers. In my case, I tried this given Ubuntu 24.04 from Proxmox. It is the best platform for running the OS on virtualization hardware with web access from any device.

Ubuntu has included Gsuite on their desktop. In a short time, you can access all office work from the Ubuntu desktop with the latest Gnome version. As for software, it supports the latest packages of Firefox, Thunderbird, and the latest version of Libre Office.
